Things to do during your stay

Our Inverness property is nestled within the lush countryside, yet only ten minutes from the city's town centre with all its superb tourist facilities.


Inverness Castle

Inverness Castle is a beautiful old building which is visible as soon as you enter into Inverness. The Castle is situated overlooking the River Ness. The castle is open daily during the tourist season from 10.30am to 5.30pm.


Culloden Battlefield

Inverness is home to the famous Culloden Battlefield where the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart was crushed by Government forces.


Shopping

Inverness boasts a large shopping centre which is home to all the popular shops such as Debenhams, Zara, Laura Ashley and Marks and Spencer.


Day Activities

If you want to enjoy a leisurely day enjoying sporting activities, you might like to visit Bught Park which is home to The Aqua Dome. The Aqua Dome boasts a gym, classes, swimming pool, beauty room and sauna/ steam. Inverness Ice Rink is very close to the Dome and is an excellent choice for a day out.

Vue cinemas is situated at the Inverness Retail Park and hosts the most up to date films available.


Evening Entertainment

There is alot of lovely places to go for a quiet evening out in Inverness. There are many renowned restaurants including The Mustard Seed and Rocpool which boasts not only somewhere to eat, but also a luxurious cocktail and lounge bar. If you are looking for an evening of dining and service, you might like Abstract which has Michelin Star chefs from some of Europe’s top restaurants.

City style entertainment is available in Inverness for a more lively night out, and there are many little pubs and bars which will take you into the early hours. Some recommended bars include Johnny Foxes, Bar Pivo, The Foundary and Hootenannies. If you fancy something more upbeat, you could visit either of the City's nightclubs being G's, Bakoo or Soho.
